Ohohohohohohohohoh sh*********!

Joe Lefors......Remember him? He was the Pinkerton man who, along with the Native American called Lord Baltimore, tracked  Butch Cassidy and Sundance all  the way up to this photo......and at this point, Butch decided the only thing they could do was 'jump'. They were surrounded and they took a leap. But which one couldn't swim? Ohohohohoh sh*********.(Watch Video Link).....as the censors blanked that out.

This epic film's long, inescapable pursuit across the west was led by Joe Lefors. (Click on Link) As he tracked Butch and Sundance across the west, each time they thought they eluded Lefors,.....far out there, ....far far away, a dusty trail of horses running in the desert, in hot pursuit of the two outlaws took hold. That 'dusty' trail, like Linus and his blanket,....was not far away.

.......Up the years and change the location and Joe Lefors lives on. Not in pursuit of the outlaws, but in pursuit of birds. You see, here I was at Forsythe last Saturday, the first Saturday since the drive re-opended. A windy day.....dust in the air. Everytime a car passed on Wildlife Drive, the dust would kick up, sending a thick spattering of it northward. Car after car on the drive, dust after dust. From one side of the drive, one could gaze to the other and with bins 'up', see the cars traveling at 9 mph. Each turn of the wheel from a distance, showed the dust kicking up. Like Joe Lefors pursuit of Cassidy and Sundance,...from afar, ....far out there, far far away, a dusty trail of cars running on the drive, in hot pursuit of ducks. 

The ducks....(I saw about 50 Canvasbacks).....came too close to the drive and the dust and they were sent off....Ohohohohohoh sh*********....they left. 

When I came about after the loop and decided to see what I missed as I walked the boardwalk.....I came across a nice man with a scope. Yep....he had a scope but little to view . So we started to chat. He was from out west someplace like I am...just out there. I told him my name, and he told me his..... Joe Lefors
