Name the car manufacturer brands....Okay? ...One, two three....go. So did you get it? Which car is what? Obviously I can see a few cars which appear to be the same 'maker'....or have the same DNA in car talk. But in general it is a bit difficult. Now, let's add a bit of color to the cars and see if you do any better ....ready? Not a lot better, eh? ... I was thinking that color would be the secret ingredient but I guess not. In order to tell the difference, perhaps you need to get closer. Try this... Close....closer.....closest....... Did that help? ..You are real close to the car, real close.... but still not quite doing the trick I bet. Did you get this one? A classic 1963 Split Window Corvette. ....So we have found a way to narrow down our ID of the car. 'if' you have a fairly good working knowledge of cars. Being a car guy myself, I can appreciate any corvette or Aston Martin (James Bond), Mustangs etc.... But obviously there are other ways that one can distinguish a car, such as the front grill, or better yet the emblem. Chevy, right? ..... Okay....we are on a roll man. You have completed a course on 'car distinguishment' and can now advance to the next level. We have figured out a few things about distinguishing one car from another and have learned how that might come about. You get closer.....you look at the grill, you view the emblem, or I suppose you can read owners manual to0! But the point is that it is not easy to look at white cars or really, any car....and be able to determine which car manufacturer is the maker or 'said car'.... Wow, I feel good. I completed this course and while there is no formal certificate to go along with this course, it is nice to know that, I have knowledge. Valuable knowledge that allows me to now, go up to any car in the parking lot and attempt to figure out the maker. Job well done Jim...well done. But let's apply 'that to this'... ![]() So....a bit difficult once more. Peeps...lots of em...white, small...moving...some color, some changes of color.... etc etc...
Just a friendly reminder to attend this upcoming Month's Audubon Meeting March 25th at 7:30 (6:30 for social hour) as we have our guest speaker Jesse who will be speaking of PEEPS and how to ID.... If you didn't get the 'cars', chances are you don't have the peeps either. DUE TO VIRUS...Cancelled
